Aujourd'hui, le terme \"\u00e9cran plat\" est r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux ordinateurs portables haut de gamme.<a href=\"https:\/\/jiclcd.com\/fr\/module-lcd-tft\/\">\u00c9crans \u00e0 cristaux liquides TFT<\/a> sont partout : de votre smartwatch aux \u00e9crans de cockpit des avions commerciaux. Au cours des 18 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, j'ai con\u00e7u, test\u00e9 et int\u00e9gr\u00e9 des milliers de modules TFT LCD pour des applications m\u00e9dicales, automobiles et \u00e9lectroniques grand public. Il s'agit d'un type de <em>matrice active<\/em> LCD o\u00f9 chaque pixel est contr\u00f4l\u00e9 par un ou plusieurs transistors d\u00e9di\u00e9s construits directement sur le substrat de verre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrairement aux anciens \u00e9crans LCD \u00e0 matrice passive (comme ceux des premi\u00e8res montres num\u00e9riques), qui reposent sur l'adressage ligne et colonne, ce qui provoque des images fant\u00f4mes et une r\u00e9ponse lente, les \u00e9crans LCD TFT permettent \u00e0 chaque pixel d'avoir son propre \u201cinterrupteur marche\/arr\u00eat\u201d. Cela permet d'obtenir des images plus nettes, des taux de rafra\u00eechissement plus rapides et une luminosit\u00e9 constante, m\u00eame avec des angles de vision tr\u00e8s larges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Faits amusants<\/strong>: La partie \u201ccouche mince\u201d fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la couche de semi-conducteur (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement du silicium amorphe ou du polysilicium \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature) d\u00e9pos\u00e9e en couches ultrafines - souvent d'une \u00e9paisseur de quelques nanom\u00e8tres seulement - sur le verre. Voici comment proc\u00e9der :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Le r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage fournit une lumi\u00e8re blanche uniforme<\/strong> (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 base de LED aujourd'hui).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Le premier polariseur<\/strong> ne laisse passer que les ondes lumineuses align\u00e9es verticalement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mol\u00e9cules de cristaux liquides<\/strong>, Les TFT, pris en sandwich entre deux substrats de verre, se tordent ou se d\u00e9tordent en fonction de la tension appliqu\u00e9e par l'interm\u00e9diaire du TFT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cette torsion d\u00e9termine le degr\u00e9 de rotation de la lumi\u00e8re<\/strong> lorsqu'elle traverse la couche de cristaux liquides.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Le deuxi\u00e8me polariseur (horizontal)<\/strong> bloque ou transmet la lumi\u00e8re, en fonction de l'ampleur de la rotation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Filtres de couleur (RVB)<\/strong> puis de teinter la lumi\u00e8re transmise pour cr\u00e9er des pixels en couleur.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque pixel est essentiellement une valve lumineuse microscopique. Et gr\u00e2ce au TFT qui se trouve en dessous, nous pouvons ouvrir ou fermer cette valve avec une extr\u00eame pr\u00e9cision, des milliers de fois par seconde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Dans le cadre d'un projet automobile que j'ai dirig\u00e9, nous avions besoin d'un \u00e9cran lisible sous le soleil direct du d\u00e9sert (plus de 1 500 nits). Un grain de poussi\u00e8re lors du laminage ? C'est un pixel mort, ou pire, un d\u00e9faut qui tue le rendement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Advantages_vs_Disadvantages_The_Real_Trade-Offs\"><\/span>Avantages et inconv\u00e9nients : Les vrais compromis<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir int\u00e9gr\u00e9 des \u00e9crans dans tous les domaines, des moniteurs chirurgicaux aux kiosques ext\u00e9rieurs, j'ai appris qu'aucune technologie n'est parfaite. Voici mon point de vue honn\u00eate :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Advantages_of_TFT_LCD\"><\/span><strong>Avantages de l'\u00e9cran TFT LCD<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mature et rentable<\/strong>: La production de masse a fait chuter les co\u00fbts de mani\u00e8re spectaculaire. Un TFT industriel de 7 pouces co\u00fbte aujourd'hui moins de $15 en volume.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Luminosit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e et stabilit\u00e9<\/strong>: Atteint facilement plus de 1 000 nits, ce qui est essentiel pour les applications lisibles en plein soleil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Longue dur\u00e9e de vie<\/strong>: Les LED ont une dur\u00e9e de vie de 50 000 \u00e0 100 000 heures ; pas de risque de br\u00fblure comme les OLED.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Des couleurs constantes<\/strong>: Excellent pour les domaines o\u00f9 les couleurs sont critiques, comme la radiologie ou la conception graphique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Large gamme de temp\u00e9ratures de fonctionnement<\/strong>: Une conception ad\u00e9quate permet un fonctionnement de -30\u00b0C \u00e0 +85\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disadvantages_Limitations\"><\/span><strong>Inconv\u00e9nients et limites<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>N\u00e9cessite un r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage<\/strong>: Impossible d'obtenir un noir v\u00e9ritable (rapport de contraste limit\u00e9, typiquement 800:1 \u00e0 1500:1 contre \u221e:1 pour les OLED).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contraintes d'angle de vue<\/strong>: M\u00eame avec les am\u00e9liorations IPS ou AFFS, un changement de couleur peut se produire au-del\u00e0 de 160\u00b0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Profil plus \u00e9pais<\/strong>: Par rapport aux \u00e9crans OLED ou microLED, les \u00e9crans LCD TFT sont plus volumineux en raison des couches de r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consommation \u00e9lectrique<\/strong>: Le r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage toujours allum\u00e9 signifie une consommation d'\u00e9nergie en veille plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que les \u00e9crans \u00e9missifs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>D\u00e9lai de r\u00e9ponse<\/strong>: Bien qu'elle se soit am\u00e9lior\u00e9e (jusqu'\u00e0 5 ms sur les \u00e9crans destin\u00e9s aux jeux), elle reste en retrait par rapport \u00e0 l'OLED pour les contenus en mouvement rapide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Un jour, un client a insist\u00e9 pour utiliser l'OLED pour un moniteur d'usine fonctionnant 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7. Au bout de trois mois, une utilisation irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re a provoqu\u00e9 des br\u00fblures visibles sur les \u00e9l\u00e9ments statiques de l'interface utilisateur. Nous sommes revenus \u00e0 un \u00e9cran TFT \u00e0 haute luminosit\u00e9 avec rev\u00eatement antireflet et n'avons jamais regard\u00e9 en arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_TFT_LCDs_Shine_Real-World_Applications\"><\/span>L\u00e0 o\u00f9 les \u00e9crans TFT LCD brillent : Applications r\u00e9elles<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9crans LCD TFT dominent les cr\u00e9neaux o\u00f9 la fiabilit\u00e9 l'emporte sur l'effet de surprise :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Imagerie m\u00e9dicale<\/strong>: Les \u00e9crans de diagnostic n\u00e9cessitent un \u00e9talonnage DICOM, un gamma stable et des livraisons TFT sans scintillement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IHM industrielles<\/strong>: R\u00e9sistance aux vibrations, aux interf\u00e9rences \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques et aux variations de temp\u00e9rature.
